BOOK SOON FOR OUR NEXT PRODUCTION:
Normally we regularly hold auditions for our productions. Our auditions are open to anyone so everyone gets a chance for a part. We like to cast primarily, when we can, from our own members or new faces; we do not just phone up particular people and offer them parts in a production to form a 'dream-team'. So, please come along and join us. You never know, it may be your turn to take a 'starring rôle' here at TLT. You don't know what you can do, so come along and try.
We know that there is an untapped wealth of talent in the Tyldesley and surrounding areas and we are always looking for new members, either to act on stage or do any of the jobs that need to be done in theatres ..... but on a smaller scale!!!
We regret that due to Government regulations regarding juveniles, we do not accept anyone under the of 18 for membership of the society or as cast members for any of our productions.
We are an amateur society and cannot accept anyone who holds either an 'Equity Card' or is a member of 'Spotlight'.
This is a great way to meet new people and do something really good for the local community. Everyone is welcome, so come along and enjoy being part of our award winning team here in Tyldesley

The old envelope posting system has now ended, but you can now go on-line to this link (clicking on it should take you there directly in a new window) https://www.recycle4charity.co.uk and follow the prompts, depending on what you have to recycle. You will need to enter the TLT access number C31122 and either print off a return label (sorry, yes, a printer is required) or order a box to keep your cartridges in until you have the required number to send off.
You can also bring your cartridges to the theatre and put them in one of the boxes in one of our refreshment rooms. Please ensure that they are in small plastic bags before putting them in the box, just in case they leak. We request that you don't just leave them lying around the theatre as some people have done, as they will probably be treated as rubbish and just get thrown away, which defeats the object of bringing them!!!
We are sorry about the changes, we think that the old system was both quicker and easier, but unfortunately 'the times they are a-changing', as the old song goes.
We hope that you will continue to support us with this scheme in the future, despite the changes.
